“So, are you guys twins?”…..

If we had a coin each time; this query is put to us, we would have bought those twin towers.

To be honest; engineering is generally boring but a bit less for me since I met my replica! These 3 years became bearable with her by my side always! The bond has become so strong that we have understood each other, in and out. Even with our differences (Ashli being the shy, introvert girl), we still made a fabulous team right from the day one and have managed to keep up that momentum ever since.

Now we share a common taste, in fashion, of course. 😛

We have a pretty similar dressing sense and often slay it with our style statement! No doubt, we go shopping together.

Many -a-times she helps me to choose my clothes and it ends up as a great pair. We often pick the same things in stores, regardless of whether we style them the same or not. We tend to have that ‘eureka’ moments and without sounding cheesy, end up finishing each other’s sentences.

Thank you Ashli, for keeping faith in me and my dreams even when I had given up on myself. Thank you for never allowing me to be too mean to myself, while still telling me what I need to hear, not just what I want to hear. Thank you for being the first person I call when something goes right (or wrong). Thank you for sharing in my excitement when good things happen. Thank you for the long cries on your shoulder calls. Thank you for those hour-long conversations about life, the future, the past over coffee. Thank you for pushing me and always reminding me of the goal I am chasing. Thank you for making me laugh until I have tears, thank you for turning those bad moments to the bests. Thank you for being a best friend.

 

Therefore, cheers to those besties who wear similar type of clothes by chance; it’s like you share the same brain!

 

Tip: the loose the top the more frills. See how you can rock in lose t-shirts pairing with shorts or even skirts. The shape doesn’t matter, even if you’re thin you can fit into the right clothes. 😉
